ECHOES AND RIPPLES
I've now moved beyond your time and space,
Fresh eyes perceiving, of people and place
Until your smell wafts under my nose
present right there, with my eggs and toast
Memories keep shimmering and rippling
echoes of pleasure and pain crippling.
Present moment returns, it all solidifies,
until I'm taken away again by your cries.
Echoes of your voice guiding me to Trust
not to be weighed down by Shoulds and Musts
I catch a glimpse of hazel almond eyes
In a crowd of grey indifferent, people-skies..
Ripples and Samskaras echo on forever
by nature, their duty, there is no never..
Echoes and ripples hypnotise all our minds
Until new stories and pathways we seek to find
You're still living in my bones and in my skin
though no longer have my mind as your win.
With awareness, the ripples do often subside
From the echoes of You, I no longer need to hide.
